An eSIM is a digital SIM built into a compatible phone. You install a travel plan with a QR code, then use that line for mobile data while you are away.
Connect to Wi-Fi, open the QR code in your dashboard, and add the plan in your phone’s cellular settings. Name the line and choose it for mobile data when you arrive.
The phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Look for Add eSIM or Add mobile plan in the cellular settings, and confirm the exact model with the manufacturer before you buy.
A QR code is usually installed once, on one phone. You can share the connection with a hotspot. The daily allowance on an unlimited plan covers every device on that hotspot.
eSIM Management
- After payment, the QR code and install links are in your dashboard and your email.
- Install on Wi-Fi before you fly, and check on the plan when validity starts.
- Keep your home line for calls and texts, and use the travel eSIM for data.
- Remaining data is shown in your dashboard.
Troubleshooting
- Turn the travel line on, set it as the mobile data line, and enable roaming on that line only.
- Turn data roaming off on your home SIM so it does not take over.
- Restart the phone, then toggle airplane mode.
- Confirm the destination is covered by the plan you bought.
- If it still fails, email support@find-esim.com with the address you used to order.
